Mallet Privacy Policy
Mallet (hereinafter referred to as "the company" or "we") respects and protects the privacy of users (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "users"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information you provide us when using our mobile application ("App"). 1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you give us. This includes any information that you provide to us directly, such as when you create an account, use our App, or contact us for support. It may include, but is not limited to: your name, email address, phone number, and bank card number.
- Information we get from your use of our services. This information relates to the services that you use and how you use them, like when you visit a website that uses our advertising services or you view and interact with our ads and content. This information includes: device-specific information, log information, location information, unique application numbers, local storage, and cookies.
Please note that we do not store your wallet password, private key, and mnemonic phrase on our servers and cannot help you retrieve them.
2. How We Use Information We Collect

We may use the name you provide for your profile across all of the services we offer that require a Mallet account. If other users already have your email, or other information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible Mallet profile information, such as your name and photo.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those set out in this Policy.
3. Information We Share
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Mallet unless one of the following circumstances applies:
- With your consent. We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Mallet when we have your consent to do so.
- For legal reasons. We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Mallet if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
4. Information Security
We work hard to protect Mallet and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:
- We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
- We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to Mallet employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies. We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. We also adhere to several self-regulatory frameworks. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.
7. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.
